POND AND EARTH POOL MEMBRANE COATING
MEMBRANE COATING FOR PONDS AND EARTHEN POOLS
In large-scale water storage projects, a membrane lining method is preferred for ground surfaces that are permeable and lack water-retention properties. After the soil is excavated, the surface is leveled and compacted to accommodate the intended water storage capacity; subsequently, a protective geotextile layer is laid down, depending on the specific soil structure. The prepared surface is then covered with a membrane to ensure impermeability. Given the large surface area required for such projects, steel water tanks are often chosen as an alternative, as they allow for the storage of the same volume of water within a smaller footprint.
